White Mountains Hiking Trail

“White Mountains Hiking Trail”

Acrylic on 8″x10″ stretched canvas

This was a commissioned painting for a lady who is an avid hiker. When I mentioned how much I enjoy painting art about New England, she asked me to create a painting of a photo she took along the trail of one of her hikes.

Portland Headlight

“Portland Headlight”

Acrylic on 8″x10″ stretched canvas

Much of my inspiration comes from the beauty I see every day here in Maine. This lighthouse is a classic landmark and painting this was an absolute must as I create more artwork that is reflective of life in New England.

Casco Camp

“Casco Camp”

Acrylic on 11″x14″ stretched canvas

This was painted as a gift for a family member who has a camp in Casco, Maine. It’s one of my favorite places to go in the summer especially when my girls were younger. This little camp sure has seen a lot of memories over the years.

Principe

“Principe”

Principe is a hotel located in Venice, Italy. The original painting was done with acrylic on 8×10 canvas and was created as a commission request for someone who spent his honeymoon there and wanted to give the painting to his wife as a gift.

“Owl”

Acrylic on 4″ x 4″ Canvas

This little 4×4 inch painting was my very first sale. I had originally painted it to add to my own art collection on display but decided that the size was a bit too small for the display I had in mind.

The original painting is not available for purchase.

Regal Hen

“Regal Hen”

Acrylic on 6″ x 6″ Canvas

This hen was my very first original painting.  It reminds me of the egg layer chickens we had in our back yard a couple of years ago. They were friendly and each one had her own personality.

Peaceful Swim

“Peaceful Swim”

Acrylic on 6″ x 6″ Canvas

I absolutely love to go fishing! It is one of my favorite things to do while on vacation in the summer. I really love to catch bass but I’ve certainly hooked a few catfish in my time… not my favorite fish to catch but it is a nice fish to paint.  I love the way this fish seems to be skimming the surface to say hello.

The Loon

I painted this as a gift for a friends birthday. She lives on a pond in central Maine where she has spent many mornings sitting by the water, watching the loons.
